Hello Glow SPF 20 lip balm review

long time no see, eh? Anyways, I've been ITCHING to make a lip balm review for a while now, and today, we’re going to talk about the Hello Glow SPF 20 lip balm that I've been wearing for YEARS!

Ok, so to give you a quick summary of what Hello Glow is, Hello Glow is a popular philippine skincare brand launched by Ever Bilena Cosmetics, which is basically like the revlon of the philippines in an age way, they are one of the OG philippine beauty brands and they basically started the whole p-beauty scene.

now as for their products, Hello Glow offers a range of cruelty, paraben and SLS free products which are also vegan, i’ve tried their blue rejuv set (a set of tiny skincare products popular in the philippines) and let’s just say that i probably don’t know how to use them (and i threw them out for some reason TT.
it did work but it dried my skin out like CRAZY! i probably needed more drops of the moisturizer TT.
Not only that but i've ttried some of their moisturizers too! their Aloe vera moisturizer made me feel a burning sensation in my dry spots, and their collagen moisturizer may or may not have had mineral oil, which broke me out. Overall, i've gotten the best result from their rosewater moisturizer which made my skin so dewey! i dare say that this product put the "Glow" in "Hello Glow".

Pros and Cons:

• It smells so GOOD! literally so melony and soapy, idk why but that scent gives me OS. MUCH. COMFORT.
• It gives my lips sun protection! never in my life has my lips been this shielded!
• It does its job well, and gives me that moisture needed to get rid of chapped lips and gives it life!

• It isn’t as shiny as one of the lip balms I've tried. It has a shine, but nothing too cool.
• I think it gave my lips white cast once, so only apply every once in a while, only when you need to give your lips some extra protection again.

Final Thoughts

Overall, for all its flaws, it's still going to be an essential must-have for me! it'll definitely remind me of highschool for years to come!
